Conor Heun Wiki
10th Planet Jiu Jitsu product Conor 'Hurricane' Heun has fought across various promotions in his 14 fight career, including Elite XC, the IFL, and most recently, Strikeforce. Heun went 2-1 during his time in the IFL, only losing a split decision to LC Davis. He would sign to fight on a ShoXC card, taking place on March 21, 2008 against Brazilian Marlon Mathias. Heun would win by unanimous decision. Heun would then defeat James Edson Berto by TKO at Elite XC: Heat (the last event the promotion hosted, included a main event of Kimbo Slice and Seth Petruzelli).
After Elite XC dissolved, Heun would go on a rough two fight skid, losing to Jorge Gurgel, and taking KJ Noons to a split decision. His next fight would be at 'Strikeforce: Overeem vs. Werdum' against Magno Almeida. In an entertaining grappling war, Heun suffered a leg and arm injury. Heun would get stuck inside a toe hold early on in the fight, and would miraculously escape an armlock attempt from Almeida. He set a frantic pace in round three, raining ground and pound inside Almeida's guard, even throwing hammerfists with both hands simultaneously (a la Kazushi Sakuraba). Heun would take the decision by a score of 29-28 on all three judges scorecards, and had visible arm damage after the fight. In regards to this fight, Heun stated, "I will never tap."
Heun's most recent fight saw him in the loss column, as he was finished in the first time in his career by Ryan Couture.
