Branko Cikatic Wiki
The first Croatian born kick boxer to achieve international acclaim, Branko Cikatic won the inaugural K-1 grand prix in 1993. He also fought in a kickboxing match at the inaugural Pride event, losing via disqualification to Ralph White due to an illegal soccer kick. Cikatic is best known in MMA circles for his losses in Pride to Mark Kerr and Maurice Smith, in which Cikatic showed little regard for the rules. He was disqualified in the match against Kerr due to consistently holding on to the ropes during Kerr's takedowns and striking to the back of Kerr's head. Maurice Smith defeated Cikatic with a forearm choke in a match in which Cikatic was also close to being disqualified in.
