Kamila Porczyk is a mixed martial artist, fitness model and reality TV personality born July 6th 1977 in Pionki, Poland. Porczyk arrived relatively late in MMA having first made her name as a fitness model - crowned Miss Universe Fitness in 2003, 2006 and 2010, becoming a celebrity in both her native Poland and her adopted home of Germany.
Whilst many fighters may have a released instructional videos, especially on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Porczyk might be the only one to have released a weight loss DVD. Her fame was further increased upon winning Polish reality TV show 'Stardust Circus', only making her professional MMA debut even more anticipated.
Based professionally in Germany, Porczyk made her MMA debut on June 15th 2013 defeating fellow debutant Jana Wagnehuber by submission due to strikes in round 1 of a bout under the Mixed Fight Gala banner. With her first victory in the bag she was quickly signed up to compete for the highly respected KSW promotion back home in Poland. With her notoriety in Poland as great as it is she competed on the main card of KSW 26 despite her limited MMA experience.
For this fight Porczyk dropped from bantamweight to flyweight and defeated then undefeated Ukrainian submission ace Iryna Shaparenko by unanimous decision. Having compiled a 2-0 record Kamila Porczyk has returned to modelling and fitness competition but still trains in MMA and has not ruled out competing for KSW once more.
