Sergey Semizhon Wiki

Sergei Semizhon is a fighter from Minsk, Belarus competing in Lightweight and Featherweight division. After compiling a 5-1 record on regional M-1 Challenge shows in Belarus he was offered a fight from the PLMMA organization against Mateusz Tatarek in 2013. Being considered an underdog despite his winning record he none the less won his fight due to his opponent's injury. This resulted in him being offered a PLMMA FW Title shot later against the reigning champion Kamil Łebkowski in March 2015 after the original two challengers were for various reasons removed from the bout. Despite being a game opponent Semizhon was outmatched and constantly taken down during the entire fight before finally succumbing to the champion's relentless ground and pound attack late in the third round.
