Jussi Halonen Wiki Update Wiki

Jussi Halonen is a Finnish MMA fighter, who trains out Hard Knocks, Helsinki. Jussi started wrestling when he was 4-year old. He is known for his "Never give up!" -attitude. Best example of his attitude is his fight against Tuomo Peltoniemi @Cage 21. Jussi hurt himself immediately at the start of the match. After the first punch his left hand was almost unusable. His pectoral was torn and tendon was almost completely severed. Still he refused to give up until his cornerman threw in a towel in a second round when Jussi screamed in agony when he tried to punch with his left hand.

Jussi Halonen won silver in ADCC Finnish Nationals 2014.

Jussi Halonen was supposed to go The Ultimate Fighter Season 22 tryouts April 27th in Las Vegas together with his teammate Johan Vänttinen, but old injury prevented his trip to Vegas. Jussi Halonen broke his metatarsus in November 2014. Although he was able to fight in February 2015, his fracture was not ossified properly. He broke his metatarsus again during training session and he needed surgery for that.
