Walter Ezequiel Matthysse Bianchettin, better known as “Ezequiel Matthysse”, is an Argentine professional boxer, influencer and singer. He was born on July 8, 1998 in Trelew, Chubut, Argentina. He rose to fame in 2012, when a video of him called "Papá Tengo Calzoncillos Nuevos" was published on YouTube, a video that went viral with millions of views shortly after being published on the platform.
In 2012 he also began his career as a boxer (amateur) winning by knockout in the third round. In 2015 at the age of 16, he was called by Marcos "Chino" Maidana's team and traveled to California (USA), where he was trained by the renowned trainer Robert Garcia, he also trained and sparred with various world boxing figures such as Shane Mosley. On June 6, 2016 he made his international debut winning by points in a great performance where he caused 2 protection accounts to his rival.
In 2018 he was consecrated World Amateur Champion of the World Boxing Council (WBC) winning by points in unanimous decision in Los Angeles (USA), and he became the first Argentine amateur boxer in history to win a WBC title.
In 2019 he became the WBC Amateur South American Champion, winning the semifinal and the final of the championship by knockout in the first round.
In 2020 he debuted as a professional boxer winning by knock-out in the first round in Córdoba (Argentina), in an event televised by TyC Sports.
In 2021 he began his career as a musical artist.
