WEC 27 Wiki Update Wiki

After the successful performances of future WEC superstars Carlos Condit and Urijah Faber at WEC 26, the main event of WEC 27 paled in comparison, as the card featured just one title fight—compared with three from the previous event—in the light heavyweight division between Doug Marshall and Justin McElfresh.

In the main event, Marshall defended his Light Heavyweight Championship with a first-round knockout, but he would not hold the title for long.
