In one of the most stacked Ultimate Fight Night cards in the series’ history, top lightweight contender Kenny Florian took on Japanese lightweight legend and new UFC addition Takonori Gomi, submitting him with a Rear Naked Choke in the third round. In the co-featured bout of the evening, TUF 10 winner Roy Nelson knocked out Stefan Struve in the first round, earning himself a top contender’s match against Junior dos Santos later that year.
