UFC Fight Night 18 Wiki Update Wiki

UFC Fight Night 18 featured a main event pitting veteran middleweight and welterweight contender Martin Kampmann against the last-reigning WEC Welterweight Champion, Carlos Condit, in the latter’s UFC debut. Although the three-round war was one of the closest fights of the year, Kampmann emerged with the win via Split Decision.

Condit had joined the UFC’s roster after Zuffa, LLC sister promotion WEC folded its higher weight classes, including welterweight, middleweight, and light heavyweight, into the UFC.
