UFC 95 Wiki
After fans expressed outrage at the prospect that the UFC was going to market a main event fight between Diego Sanchez and Joe Stevenson on Pay Per View, the promotion announced that UFC 95 would instead be broadcast free on Spike TV in the United States. In the main event, Sanchez outworked Stevenson to gain the Unanimous Decision nod. Nate Marquardt finished Wilson Gouveia with strikes in one of the best finishes of the year, and a mohawked Dan Hardy emerged as a new U.K. star with a first-round knockout of Rory Markham.
