Ramsey Nijem from Team Dos Santos would take on Tony Ferguson from Team Lesnar to decide who was the Ultimate Fighter. Ferguson would finish Nijem in the first to become the Ultimate Fighter as well as taking home the Knockout of the Night bonus. The Co-Main Event of the evening featured Anthony Pettis who was expected to be getting a title shot but due to an injury took this fight against Clay Guida. It would turn out to be a bad move as Guida grinded his way to a Unanimous Decision. Kyle Kingsbury took on Fabio Maldonado winning by Unanimous Decision in the Fight of the Night. Submission of the Night went to Reuben Duran for his third round choke on Fransisco Rivera.
