On June 14th, ShoFIGHT introduces a new concept in Combat Sports. In the tradition of Eddie Bravo's Combat Jiu Jitsu, SGS presents 'GrappleFIGHT.' Join us at GFL.tv at 7PM CST, immediately before the 2014 ShoFIGHT Summer Smash to watch 'GrappleFIGHT' at no additional charge.

Here is how 'GrappleFIGHT' works;

Two fighters will enter the ShoFIGHT Cage. They will compete for three rounds of three minutes each in a Sanctioned Grappling Match with knees and punches allowed when clinched against the cage or on the mat. No kicks are allowed at GrappleFIGHT, but ground and pound and dirty boxing will be on display as well as high level grappling from the top grapplers of each style and background. This gives elite grapplers ,with no interest in learning or developing the striking necessary to compete in Mixed Martial Arts, a chance to test their skills in a safe, fully sanctioned and insured combat situation.

Our first Event will Feature ShoFIGHT Grappler Series Champion Kyle Noblitt in his first Title Defense since winning the SGS Tournament last season. Noblitt, an accomplished wrestler will face Oklahoma-Based Jiu Jitsu fighter Rusty Forbis in the Main Event.

In the Co-Main Event, 300lb BJJ Purple Belt David Grayson of West Side MMA in Little Rock, AR faces former ShoFIGHT Heavyweight and Super-Heavyweight Champion Josh HULK Faries in a Super-Heavyweight GrappleFIGHT.

Also welcoming Grapplers from Springfield BJJ, Branson Fight Club, Team Respect, Outcast MMA, Hybrid Martial Arts, Darkhorse MMA, Joplin Brotherhood, LOBJJ, and many others...

All GrappleFIGHT Bouts will be sanctioned by Bout Management Federation, LLC.
