Why does boxrec always seem to ignore the amateur records of Japanese boxers?

Cheese, BoxRec doesn't include nearly all amateur fights worldwide.
Well, what they do is include major ammy chmapionships(Olympics, World's, European, Pan American, Nationals, etc. ) but the majority of amateur fights take place in small gyms and its really hard to track them all.
If you want to find out extra info for Japanese fighters check out this site

This is where I get most of my information for Japanese boxers. You'll need Google translate. They provide a bunch of information for nearly every boxer including links to their gyms, all social media and you can find out amateur records and other information
