The third televised bout of Titan FC 23 saw Jake Lindsey meet Jordan Johnson in the lightweight division.


The first three minutes of the opening round saw both fighters engage in a furious grappling match, with both getting takedowns and attempting submissions. Midway through the round Lindsey attempted an Armbar from his back but Johnson got out of it and went for a choke. Lindsey stood with Johnson still on his back but Johnson dropped down for another takedown and got it. Johnson dropped back for a Heel Hook and cranked as Lindsey landed punches to the body. Johnson let go of the foot before the bell.


Johnson dropped onto his back to avoid knees early in the second and Lindsey took the top position, working furious punches to the body. Lindsey postured up and landed some big punches to the face, continuing his assault as Johnson's strength faded on bottom.


Johnson landed a left hook to start the third but looked more tired than Lindsey, who bounced away. Lindsey stuffed a takedown but Johnson stayed on his hips and turned him to the mat then latched onto a Guillotine as Lindsey tried to cage-walk to his feet. Johnson let go of the submission and found himself on bottom again. Lindsey landed a series of lefts to the head. Johnson cage-walked to his feet but Lindsey took him back down and continued his steady assault to the bell.


The judges scored the bout 30-27 across the board for Lindsey, giving him the Unanimous Decision victory.
