Kirwan vs. Rumsey Wiki Update Wiki

Kirwan and Rumsey took to the cage for the second bout of the evening in a middleweight tilt.

Kirwan dropped for a takedown and got it at the start of the fight, but Rumsey got back to his feet with a front headlock before getting taken down again. Rumsey kept cranking on the neck and used it to stand, then pushed Kirwan into the cage and fired off some knees to the head and body. Kirwan got his head out of danger, reversed the position, got a takedown then got a suplex when Rumsey stood. Kirwan dove on a Guillotine, switched it to a D'Arce choke, then switched to a mounted Guillotine to draw the quick tap in the first round.

The official end came 1:40 into the first round, giving Kirwan the submission victory.
