Musser vs. Holt Wiki Update Wiki

Musser and Holt kicked of the Bellator card in a lightweight tilt.

Both fighters circled and tested the range at the start of the bout before Musser shot in and got a quick double leg takedown. Holt popped right back up but Musser dragged him back down with the back clinch and worked some ground and pound from behind. Holt struggled to disengage, but Musser picked him up and slammed him back down to the canvas, continuing to work punches from the back clinch with Holt on his knees. Holt got to his feet but Musser kept the body lock and successfully completed another suplex. Holt again got to his feet and this time Musser took him down and landed in side control. Holt rolled back to his knees and Musser took the back clinch again, working knees to the ribs. Holt got back to his feet and missed on a spinning back elbow, giving Musser another opening to take him down. Finally Holt got to his feet and separated, landing a glancing head kick on the feet before knocking Musser out cold with a flying knee.

The official end came 4:06 into the first round, giving Holt the KO victory.
