@free hell yeah man! Idk how old you are, but I’m 46 as of last week and wish I would have gotten ball rolling with this 20 years ago, when NO ONE was doing this.. I might be a Big John or a Marc Goddard by now ... I WISH!! Goddard is great guy, I’ve emailed with him a few times. And he ACTUALLY responded personally to me and was super a cool dude, with great advice. And really into BJJ!!
Especually if your a younger guy, I would REALLY encourage you to reach out to whichever department regulates licenses in Canada, and see what you need to do there to get started. MMA is taking over! And hopefully in the Olympics in 2028... and I would LOVE to be involved with IMMAF by that point..
