Hamill and Gustafsson entered the cage for the second bout of the Spike broadcast.


Gustafsson landed a solid right hand after a long feeling-out period. Hamill landed a stiff jab then Gustafsson landed a solid uppercut. Hamill landed another stiff jab and Gustafsson missed with a superman punch and a head kick. Hamill landed a hard left hook as Gustafsson came in with strikes. Gustafsson was cut from the left hook. Nothing of substance landed from either fighter for the rest of the round.


Gustafsson landed a good combination to start the second round, but both fighters showed a reluctance to engage. Gustafsson stuffed a takedown and landed a head kick and an uppercut. Gustafsson landed a solid jab. Gustafsson got caught with a jab then exploded with straight punches that damaged Hamill. Gustafsson landed a head kick that was blocked then landed a leg kick. Gustafsson stuffed another takedown then hurt Hamill and dropped him with a flurry of punches. Hamill rolled onto his knees and Gustafsson attacked, rolled Hamill onto his back and emphatically finished him with strikes from the mount.


The official end came 3:34 into the second round, giving Gustafsson the TKO victory.
