Chonan vs. Okuno Wiki
After a bout between Dan Hornbuckle and Ryo Chonan was canceled due to Hornbuckle coming down with the flu, Taisuke Okuno stepped in on just a few days notice to take on Chonan. Okuno was unable to make the scheduled 76 KG weight limit and was issued a pair of red cards prior to the opening bell, signaling his forfeiting of 20% of his purse.
Chonan threw a pair of defensive high kicks early, but Okuno moved forward fearlessly throwing power punches. A single short right hook bomb landed on Chonan's chin just seconds into the bout, dropping him unconscious on the spot. The impressive win for Okuno came at just 19 seconds into the round.
