Kanehara vs. Maeda Wiki Update Wiki

Maeda threw and missed an uppercut to begin the fight, and Kanehara, who had his left knee heavily bandaged, came back with an onslaught of punches. Maeda caught and dropped Kanehara who slumped straight to the mat. Kanehara somehow managed to recover and the next minute saw a wild exchange of punches with each fighter connecting solidly. Maeda dropped Kanehara again, and referee Matsumiya quickly darted in to wave off the bout. At the moment the fight was called off, it appeared Kanehara was already recuperating and looking to defensively take Maeda down to the mat. Nonetheless, the official result saw Yoshiro Maeda pick up a big win after 1:27 of intense action.
