Enomoto vs. Nakamura Wiki Update Wiki

In the finals of the 2010 Sengoku Welterweight Grand Prix tournament, Nakamura came out and immediately landed a left hook that sent Enomoto onto his back. Nakamura worked from top position while Enomoto showed good flexibility off of his back in searching for submissions. The pace slowed over the next several minutes with occasional strikes landed from Nakamura. Nakamura shook off a late omoplata attempt as the round ended.

Enomoto came out in round two landing a nice right straight but couldn't avoid the clinch of Nakamura and was soon up against the ropes. Enomoto was given a yellow card from referee Matsumiya for grabbing the ropes during a Nakamura takedown attempt. Nakamura clinched again, secured a bodylock, and shortly after wrestled Enomoto to the ground. Enomoto struggled unsuccessfully to escape and Nakamura seized on the first opening to pass guard, take Enomoto's back, and sink in a quick rear-naked choke.

Nakamura's patient grappling superiority earned him the submission victory and tournament championship.
