Filipović vs. Yoshida Wiki Update Wiki

Yoshida starts off connecting with an overhand right that Cro Cop shrugs off.  Cro Cop connects with a hard leg kick.  A couple jabs and another leg kick prompts Yoshida to shoot a single that Cro Cop is able to defend.  Yoshida gets double overhooks and pushes Cro Cop into the corner.  As Cro Cop tries to circle out, Yoshida goes for a head throw that Cro Cop manages to fight off.  Yoshida is landing punches, but they don't seem to be having much of an effect.  Cro Cops response is to throw a left head kick that Yoshida manages to mostly avoid.  Yoshida is throwing wild single shots and Cro Cop answers with another hard leg kick.  Yoshida attempts a takedown that Cro Cop avoids and answers with a couple hard jabs before throwing a hook that connects.  Yoshida attempts a head kick, missing badly, ending up on his back with Cro Cop in his guard.  Eventually, Cro Cop backs out after landing a couple shots and the fight returns to the feet.  Yoshida continues to throw and miss, while Cro Cop lands yet another hard leg kick.  Yoshida throws a kick to the body that Cro Cop answeres with a leg kick that spins Yoshida in a circle.  Another leg kick and Yoshida is limping noticeably.  Cro Cop goes to the head with the right leg that Yoshida blocks, but another leg kick has him hopping on one foot.  Cro Cop then drops him with a beautiful uppercut, but does not follow him to the ground.  After the ref stands him up, one more leg kick by Cro Cop is all it takes to end the fight.
