After three rounds Piotr Danelski was announced as the winner via a Majority Decision (2x29-28, 28-28, losing the third round on all judges' cards), which decision was heavily booed by the fans present. Emil Weber Meek's camp appealed the decision and the same week the promoter called on an international panel of judges to review the decision. The final verdict was as follows: in the third round while getting repeatedly hit by his opponent, Danelski spit out his mouth guard on purpose and then asked the referee for a time out to pick it up and after being granted it, spit the mouth guard again and both times was granted additional time to recover thus depriving his opponent a fair chance of winning the fight via a TKO. In such a situation the referee should not pause the fight when a fighter being hit asks for a time out, much less give him further time to recover (in this case over 20 seconds total), except in case of declaring the fighter calling for a time-out unable to defend himself (and the loser via a Technical Knockout). As such, the following week the bout result was changed to a No Contest.
