During the fight the referee has made several mistakes and the judges, despite the defending champion Abdulakhalikov outmatching the hometown challenger Kolobegov during the course of 3 rounds (the fight was originally announced for full championship 5 rounds, which added to the confusion when the 3rd round was announced as "the final one") has decided that the fight was drawn and therefore it should go in the 4th "extra round" (unlike in all other ProFC fights, the actual scores were not displayed). In the 4th round the referee fumbled yet again ordering the fighters to stand up right after Abdulakhalikov has secured a takedown. Kolobegov then hit the flying knee out of nowhere knocking the champion out. His cornermen immediately ran into the cage to celebrate and Abdulakhalikov's cornermen jumped in to attack Kolobegov. A brawl ensued as more and more people ran into the cage. Finally after the chaos has cleared the ProFC officials have announced that the fight is considered a No Contest.
