This fight has a clause that says if there is an undecided winner at the end of 3 rounds there will be a sudden death round!

Yeah if the judges don't have a winner so a draw would have to take place

im guessing theyll do it for the other flyweight tourny fight, save dragging it out for months in the event of a draw. not that judges ever really score draws

i did wonder if starting the 125ers outside ammerica meant theyd do somthing pushing unified rules a little- 5 rounds/different round times/sudden death.
does make me wonder if 4th round sub and ko should be pickable. actually same applies to sudden death rounds in ksw

Approximately 2% of UFC fights end in a draw (basing this off of 2.4% for the first 6 months of 2011). So the odds of Johnson/McCall going to a draw is about 1 in 50. Using the fightmetric database via breakdownfights pie charts, about 11% of 3 rounders end in the final round and about 11% of 5 rounders end in the final 2 rounds. So we're at 1 in 50 for a draw, odds of a finish are one in 10, so we're now at 1 in 500 to get a 4th round finish in this fight. Calling correctly Sub or TKO, generally Subs are more common in final rounds but for the sake of easy math we'll call it an even 50/50 moving the odds to 1 in 1,000. Then you have to factor in there are two fighters in this and for the sake of easy math again, let's call the fight 50/50, which moves the odds of picking the correct fighter to get the correct type of 4th round finish after a draw at approximately 1 in 2,000. Can't beat those odds, I say we open up the 4th round for picking.
