Prediction: wrong Kongo wrong Decision

Kongo found out what can happen when he stands with a top class striker against Barry .. He got lucky in that fight. This time he won't take the same risk and he will fight a smarter fight. I picked Hunt to beat Rothwell but Kongo is a step too far. But I am rooting for Hunt for sure!

I'm Australian so I'm always going to go Hunt, plus Kongo has beaten two of my Fav heavy weights in his last two fights. Hopefully the Super Samoan can pull off a super upset.

@dodgey I wouldn't call it a 'super' upset if Hunt won. Alot of people think Hunt will KO Kongo.

This is one of the oddest match making decisions I've seen in awhile. I saw it and was like " R U SERIOUS BRO?". But I guess that speaks to how thin the HW division is. Or how bad it is. Or both. Hunt because why not .

Clearly, Dana and Joe Silva are freaking out. They are thinking "This chubby 7-7 guy is an embarrassment, we need to make him lose again so we can cut him!" So they give him pure wrestler Tuscherer. Hunt had other plans. Then they say, ok, ok, let's give him a wrestler who can submit him. Again, Hunt's right hand is enough of a sprawl.

Now they give him Cheick Kongo, who will be shooting for takedowns from across the octagon. Why can't we just have some fun with Hunt? Give him Struve, Barry, Mitrione, BELTRAN or someone like that, and we get a BRAWL. Instead let's give yet another grappler who will be afraid to stand.

Ben Rothwell ate some heinous shots against Hunt but apparently has a skull made of adamantium but there was progression from Hunto in that fight (ADCC material). Mark Hunt is certainly capable of doing what Pat Barry did sans the losing bit. I'm certainly rooting for him, Hunto won't be as cautious as Mitrione was. That being said I see Kongo using his solid wrestling to get the W.
