Hope vs. Voitenko

Hope's last 3 losses; (7-1), (4-0), (3-1). Voitenko's last 3 losses; (4-1), (4-7), (4-1). Basically (14-2) vs. (12-9).

One of the harder bouts to pick on the card, the height difference in their weigh-in picture is comical.  Hope is 8-2 in England/Scotland and 0-2 with his only 2 TKO losses when he fights in other countries... and he's heading to Voitenko's hometown in Ukraine for this fight.  Voitenko is 6-0 in Ukraine and 1-3 in other countries.  0-2 on the road meets 6-0 at home.  I think with his extensive combat sambo background that doesn't show up on fightfinder, Voitenko can make this a grapplefest to negate the reach.  As long as he doesn't leave his neck exposed on a shot trying to close the huge reach advantage I imagine goes along with Hope being 8 inches taller.  I'll take my chanceson the underdog, undefeated in Ukraine, to win a decision over the visitor.  And if Voitenko doesn't do a whole lot to `win` a decision, it's in Ukraine, so he still might get the nod anyways.

Hope's last three losses actually 13-1, 5-0, 4-1 (22-2). His other loss to a 10-2 fighter, so 32-4 in total. Two of his losses are at lightweight too. Should be an interesting match up. Highly ranked and high level wrestling from the Ukrainian.
