FROM FIGHT PROMOTION LEGEND FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIP (WWW.LEGENDFC.COM):

Between 2005 and 2007, Song was arguably the best lightweight fighter in Korea, racking up seven consecutive victories starting with his professional debut at K-1 HERO’s. Military service put his MMA career on hold, although he returned to competition during his final year in the army. Song’s martial arts roots are in Brazilian Jiujitsu, and he has won the All-Korea BJJ Championship 12 times. However, it is his dangerous striking that earned him the WAKO Korean Muay Thai Lightweight Championship, as well as the nickname “Tornado.” Since his release from the military in late 2010, he has returned to full-time training, and will now have an opportunity to showcase his talents to fight fans in the Legend Ring.
