Matt Hume Wiki

While he is now known predominantly as one of the most respected mixed martial arts trainers in the world, having trained fighters such as Josh Barnett, Bob Sapp, Chris Leben, Hayato Sakurai, Akira Shoji, and Rich Franklin, Matt Hume was once a professional fighter himself. During his short career, Hume became the first man to defeat Pat Miletich in a fight, and after impressing international parties, Hume trained Sheik tahnoun Bin Zayed Al Nayhan of Abu Dhabi in grappling, inspiring the Prince to found the ADCC Submission Grappling Championships, which remains one of the most prestigious grappling tournaments in the world.
