Igor burst out on the MMA scene when he upset Mario Sperry in Extreme Fighting Battlecade 1.  It was a come from behind victory.  He had some more success in EF and then got invited to fight Frank Shamrock in the UFC.  He was Koed early and never fought again. There were several times that he was to return to the UFC but it never happened.
