The UFC on Fox 5 event, scheduled for December 8th in Seattle, WA, is clearly the most stacked free card of the year. The first UFC title fight on free TV in a year will see UFC lightweight champion Ben Henderson defend his title against Nate Diaz. The rest of the main card is stacked too, with LHW prospect Alexander Gustafsson taking on former champ Mauricio Rua, and welterweight contender Ror...

A featherweight bout intended for the canceled UFC 151 card will instead take place at UFC on FOX 5, as Dennis Siver meets Eddie Yagin.

Additionally, "The Ultimate Fighter: Live" winner Mike Chiesa meets Rafaello Oliveira in a lightweight contest.

UFC officials today announced the two new contests, as well as confirming the John Albert vs. Scott Jorgensen bantamweight fight reported earlier to...

The final fight from the canceled UFC 151, which would've been two days away, now has a new home. A featherweight fight between Dennis Siver and Eddie Yagin, originally scheduled for the PPV main card, moves to UFC on FOX 5 in Seattle this December, becoming the 3rd fight to move from 151 to FOX 5. MMA Interviews confirmed the news through Yagin's manager (and Yagin confirmed it on Twitter):

UFC on FOX 5 has some brand new fights. The biggest fight was announced by officials today, as Brendan Schaub takes on Lavar Johnson in a potential heavyweight slugfest. This has the high potential for a highlight reel KO, which probably makes it the 4th main card fight of the evening. Two rescheduled fights from the canceled UFC 151 also move to the preliminary card, and Mike Swick takes on Matt...

It's been a tumultuous couple of days for MMA, specifically for the UFC. After a knee injury forced Dan Henderson to withdraw from UFC 151, a call was put out by UFC brass to several fighters to meet Jon Jones in the octagon. One man answered the call, Chael Sonnen. After more than 24 hours deliberation, and careful consultation with his trainers and management, Jones declined the fight, and Dana...

The biggest concern over the cancellation of UFC 151 was the status of all of the fighters scheduled to compete on the card . They had trained months to fight on September 1st and on August 23rd their work was seemingly put to waste. As of today the UFC has successfully rescheduled 7 of their 10 main and preliminary card fights, as well as the retooled main event of Jon Jones vs. Vitor Belfort in...

The UFC is slowly but surely emptying out the rest of their canceled UFC 151 PPV. Today officials confirmed that the following fights would be moved to October and November: Dennis Hallman vs. Thiago Tavares, John Lineker vs. Yasuhiro Urushitani, and Takeya Mizugaki vs. Jeff Hougland.

    Mapping the UFC 151 diaspora: Hougland/Mizugaki, Urushitani/Lineker moved to @fueltv 6 in Macau; Hallman/Tavares...

Today the UFC made an unprecedented move and canceled UFC 151, when Dana White confirmed Dan Henderson pulled out due to injury and Jon Jones did not want to fight Chael Sonnen even though Sonnen had accepted. Jones is now fighting Vitor Belfort at UFC 152 in Toronto, which is a huge positive for Toronto fans but a short-term disappointment for fans and evidently Dana White.

    Whatever your moral ...

This is an unprecedented move in the history of the promotion and was a drastic reaction (perhaps overreaction) to the combination ...

UFC 151 is getting closer, and so is one of the most anticipated title fights in recent months. A young champion in Jon Jones will be looking to continue his dominance, while an age-defying MMA legend in Dan Henderson will be trying to stake his claim as the most accomplished MMA fighter in history.

The bout order is set for UFC 151 on September 1st in Las Vegas, Nevada. While the injury-bug has not come in volume for this event, it did strike the most important fight on the card besides the main event, as Josh Koscheck pulled out of his fight against Jake Ellenberger due to a bulging disc. The UFC chose Jay Hieron as the replacement, and he's a familiar foe for Ellenberger, as Hieron ...

UFC 151 is set to go on September 1st in Las Vegas, and injuries have taken their toll on this card as well. Josh Koscheck is out of his co-main event bout with Jake Ellenberger and has been replaced by the returning Jay Hieron. The UFC hasn't confirmed that it will still serve as the co-main, but what else is there? What we do have right now is a huge main event pitting UFC light heavywei...

    Here we go again.

With less than four weeks until fight night (Sept. 1, 2012), UFC 151 from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, is without a co-main event thanks to a bulging disc in Josh Koscheck's back that has forced his removal from the pay-per-view (PPV) event.
