Wiki

Charlie Valencia Wiki

After beginning his career with a stellar 7-0 mark, Charlie Valencia was matched up with budding superstar Urijah Faber at featherweight, above his ideal weight class. After losing back-to-back fights with Faber and Cub Swanson, Valencia made the move to 135 lbs., where he has become one of the top contenders in the WEC's bantamweight division. Although he is not considered an explosive finisher, Valencia has earned career victories over the likes of Antonio Banuelos by knockout, as well as Coty Wheeler and Akitoshi Tamura.
