Youness El Oukili was a contestant on Al Academiya Season 1 and 2. On Season 1 he faced Silvester Saba for the fight to move into the house and lost in the first round. He got a second chance on season 2 and fought Imad "Black Tiger" Hamdi to move into the house and this time he was victorious. In the Quarter finals of Al Batal Youness would face Georges Bardawil from Lebanon. He would win a Decision and move on to the Semi Finals of the Bantamweight Tournament.
In the semi finals of the Al Academiya tournament Younes would face Georges Bardawil for the second time in the tournament. The first round they had a great ground battle. In the 2nd Younes would get suplexed and seemed to lose what fight he had in him after it happened. Younes would wind up losing a decision to Georges.
