Neer and Ludwig took to the cage for the co-main event of the evening in a welterweight match-up.
Ludwig landed a crisp right hand in the first exchange as Neer looked to put the pressure on him. Ludwig looked to wobble Neer with a straight then Neer clinched him against the cage with a body lock in search of a takedown. Neer landed a pair of strikes after a separation but Ludwig rocked him again with a right hand. Ludwig went to the body with a cross then landed another one on the face. Ludwig cut Neer open with another combo but Neer got him down and sank in a Guillotine, choking Ludwig unconscious near the end of the first round.
The official end came 3:04 into the first round, giving Neer his second straight UFC victory.
