Roller and Johnson took to the cage for a featured lightweight tilt on Fuel TV.

Johnson came out Southpaw, using a low of lateral movement to throw Roller off. Roller shot in for a takedown but Johnson stuffed it and separated. Johnson attacked with a pair of crosses, one of which partially landed. Johnson stuffed another takedown and pushed Roller into the fence. Johnson separated and landed a right hand on the exit. Roller landed a hook of his own then clinched up with Johnson, but Johnson got the underhooks and pushed Roller back into the fence. Johnson landed a leg kick after separating then stuffed yet another takedown attempt. Johnson broke away from Roller and landed a nice combo before backing off. Johnson landed a glancing knee at the bell.

Johnson came out with energy in the second, peppering Roller with a few combos before pushing him into the fence and landing a nice short elbow before breaking away. The plodding Roller looked to have no answer to Johnson's superior movement and timing, but managed to land a solid right hand. In a scramble against the cage, Johnson wound up on top inside Roller's guard. Roller got back to his feet and landed a nice combo of his own before pressing Johnson against the cage. Johnson battled for the underhooks and reversed the position, then landed another short elbow before breaking away. Johnson landed a flush left hand that wobbled Roller then followed up with a few more shots before stuffing a takedown. Roller got a full bodylock at the end of the round but Johnson still avoided the mat.

Johnson picked up right where he left off in the final round, landing some nice uppercuts, but Roller finally succeeded in getting him to the mat and took Johnson's back, searching for the choke. Roller locked in the body triangle and pounded away to the sides of the heads. Roller was warned by Dean to stop hitting the back of the head, switched to look for the choke, but Johnson defended himself well. Johnson exploded to his feet and wound up on top, dropping elbows on Roller from inside the guard. Johnson landed another punch then stood out of the guard and rocked Roller on the feet.

The judges scored the fight 29-28 across the board for Johnson.
