Russow and Einemo took to the cage for a clash of heavyweights.

Russow closed the distance quickly, pushed Einemo into the fence and took him down. Russow stood and Einemo got back to his feet, only to be clinched against the cage. Russow landed a few punches after the separation then the two behemoths clinched up again. Einemo landed a right hand of his own followed by a nice uppercut. Russow again backed Einemo up with punches then took him down and moves to side control. Einemo claimed full guard, forcing Russow to stand, but Russow re-entered the guard. Einemo swept Russow at the bell and wound up in full mount.

Einemo landed some nice punches to start the second but Russow pushed him into the fence and took him down again. Russow landed some short elbows and punches from the guard then stood for a few seconds before leaning down and passing to Einemo's half guard. Russow fired off some more elbows, allowing Einemo to reclaim full guard. Russow landed some punches from the guard, but Dean stood the two up in the final 30 seconds, only to have Russow drag Einemo back down before the bell.

Einemo stuffed a takedown for the first time early in the final round and landed some heavy strikes, including a knee that rocked Russow. Russow took Einemo down, escaped a Triangle attempt and maintained control on the ground. Dean stood the two exhausted heavyweights with a minute and a half remaining, and Einemo landed some nice strikes before getting taken down.

The judges scored the bout 29-28, 29-28, and 30-27 for Russow.
