Fadai and Maromo took to the cage for the third bout of the evening.
Maromo came out pawing a jab then landed a kick to the body. Maromo shook off a takedown attempt by Fadai and the fighters separated. Maromo landed a leg kick. Another hard leg kick did damage to Fadai's lead leg. And another. Fadai landed a poke to the eye that prompted a momentary halt to the action. Fadai landed a leg kick of his own on the restart then landed a cross after blocking a head kick. The fighters felt each other out before Maromo landed a head kick and followed Fadai to the ground, where he worked punches for the remainder of the round.
Maromo landed a flying knee then clinched up with Fadai and worked punches. The fighters separated and continued to work from range. Maromo knocked Fadai down with a leg kick but he popped up quickly. Maromo stuffed a takedown and made Fadai pay with knees to the body before separating again. Fadai fell after another leg kick and Maromo kicked his legs on the ground a few times before letting him stand. Another hard leg kick knocked Fadai down then Maromo let him back up.
Maromo went back to work with leg kicks again to start the third. The fighters got into a slug-fest and Fadai took Maromo down after the exchange. Maromo escaped to his feet and the fighters went back to measuring each other up. Maromo landed a leg kick then Fadai blocked his head kick. Fadai had a look of despair when yet another leg kick landed in the final minute. Another leg kick and another knock down. Maromo raised his hands and played to the crowd in the final seconds.
The official scorecards read 30-27 across the board for Maromo, giving him the win.
