Tyrone Mims, an amateur mixed martial arts fighter based out of Augusta, Georgia, tragically died on August 11th, 2012, following his bout on a Conflict MMA event in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Mims was making his amateur debut, losing in the second round of the contest. Mims was rushed to the hospital shortly thereafter where he was pronounced dead.
