Former pro wrestler Dave "Batista" Bautista had been scheduled to take on 3-1 amateur fighter Rashid Evans in his mixed martial arts debut, but the fight was canceled a little over a week before the event. Evans violated the terms of his probation and was sent to jail after being caught driving without a license, according to reporting from Dave Meltzer of MMAFighting.com.
The cancellation left the CES organization scrambling to find a last-minute replacement for the main event of their first ever pay per view MMA card.
