Fedor Emelianenko rose to the top of Tapology’s MMA Buzz Rankings in November following his first appearance in the Strikeforce promotion. Fedor’s fight against Brett Rogers marked the return of mixed martial arts to U.S. network television on CBS, and drew a surge of casual fan interest. Also rising in the rankings was UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar, who had to pull out of his title defense with Shane Carwin due to a serious bacterial infection. The fill-ins, Tito Ortiz and Forrest Griffin, each enjoyed spikes in fan buzz to third and fifth in the rankings, respectively. The lone new major champion in November, featherweight Jose Aldo, rose 169 spots yet only reached 22nd in the rankings in a sign of the difficulty the WEC is having in promoting its best talent. Full Top 50 rankings are below.
Tapology’s Buzz Rankings measure fan interest in individual MMA fighters based on online searches and pageviews for information about each athlete. The rankings are not a measure of a fighter’s skill or competitive standing within their division, but rather how much activity or “buzz” surrounds them (positive or negative).

these rankings are a fucking joke… it is stupid shit like this that makes most real mma fans ignore sites like yours.
Ken Shamrock at 23 is rather surprising (first time I see this ranking) I mean he hasn’t fought in forever not to mention being old and washed up.
